Alumni Hall, named to honor Spencer Penn High School Alumni (1928-1952), was added to the building in 1964 as a multipurpose room for the school. Renovations include a new floor, stage upgrade with new black back curtains, professional sound, and an entry courtyard with azaleas, rhododendrons, and evergreens. Courtyard is a pretty spot for pictures and outside gatherings.
The newly renovated entry, which includes a brick sidewalk with memorial inscribed bricks, the courtyard and the glass enclosed porch with lush greenery, welcomes each guest.
Alumni Hall is the site for Spencer Penn’s monthly Music Night and other fundraising events like the Weave-In, Bingo and concerts. It has been rented for children’s parties because it has ample space for the inflatable bouncy units and for children to play. Weddings and receptions, anniversaries, reunions, and business events are also held in the larger room.
